Warranty Coverage
A 6-month warranty, starting from the date of installation, covers defects attributable to work performed by Colorado Mobile Service Auto Glass. This is a reasonable commercial timeframe for an installation warranty; it should not be construed as a universal legal standard or as a warranty provided by the glass manufacturer.
What the warranty covers
- Water leaks attributable to the sealing or installation of the glass.
- Abnormal wind noise related to incorrect fit or sealing, where inspection determines that it stems from the installation.
- Detachment, shifting, or lack of adhesion of the glass attributable to faulty installation.
- Finishing defects directly related to the workmanship—such as incorrect fit or improper installation of trim—where these fall under the scope of the installation work.
What is not covered, if the cause is confirmed
- New impacts, cracks, or glass breakage occurring after installation.
- Damage caused by accidents, vandalism, external objects, or the actions of third parties.
- lectrical, electronic, or sensor-related issues—including ADAS—that are not a direct result of improper installation.
- Leaks or noises caused by rust, pre-existing vehicle body damage, deformations, deteriorated trim, or other vehicle conditions unrelated to the work performed.
- Damage or alterations caused by another repair shop, the customer, or a third party after the installation.
These exclusions should not be used to automatically reject a claim; the cause must be examined. The warranty does not limit any rights the customer may have under applicable law.
Recommended procedure
Our installations include a 6-month warranty against defects attributable to the installation process, such as leaks, sealing issues, or glass detachment. Each case is inspected to confirm the cause and determine the appropriate resolution in accordance with the warranty terms.
