Automotive glass replacement

Automotive Glass Replacement

Removal of damaged glass and installation of a replacement part compatible with the vehicle, including preparation of the area, application of appropriate materials, and inspection of the fit and seal.

Windshields

Replacement of cracked, broken, or damaged windshields. The correct part may depend on the vehicle's year, make, model, VIN, and specific equipment—such as ADAS cameras, rain sensors, head-up displays (HUD), or integrated antennas.

Rear windows (back glass):

Replacement of damaged rear windows, which may include features such as defrosters, tinting, electrical connectors, or specialized construction.

Door glass:

Replacement of side-door windows, subject to availability and the vehicle's specific configuration.

Fixed side glass and small windows:

Replacement of quarter glass, fixed vents, and other specialized glass components.

Encapsulated or multi-section glass:

In cases where the design does not allow for the replacement of an individual section, the entire assembly is replaced. A single-piece alternative may be available, provided it is compatible with the vehicle.

Materials and glass options

Depending on the application and availability, the company may work with manufacturers and brands such as FYG/Fuyao, XYG/Xinyi, Pilkington, and PGW.

Installation Process

We provide a full range of engine repair services to keep your vehicle running strong, including:

Confirm the year, make, and model—and, when necessary, the VIN or license plate number—to identify the correct part.

Verify vehicle equipment: ADAS camera, rain sensor, HUD (head-up display), defroster, tint, antennas, and trim/moldings.

Confirm the address or ZIP code, part availability, price, payment method, and the expected arrival window.

Remove the damaged glass and properly prepare the installation area.

Apply the appropriate primer and adhesive/sealant according to the applicable procedure.

Install the glass, check the fit and seal, and explain post-installation care to the customer.

Windshield installation typically takes approximately 40 to 60 minutes, though this may vary. The installation time is not necessarily the same as the time required for the adhesive to cure safely; the instructions provided by the adhesive manufacturer and the technician must be followed.
